While making the stringer, I also cut two pieces of MDF to use as guides for the hotwire cutter. I tried to tape them together and cut both at once with my hot new BladeRunner but it was a bit much for the BladeRunner, so it was slow going. I pulled them apart and cut them one at a time and that went much faster.
Once both guides and the stringer were all cut. I clamped all three together and sanded them all at once. It’s super important that all of them line up after the stringer is glued into the foam so this ensures that they all have the same profile.
